Fishcreek Church of the Nazarene values children of all ages and believes that God can communicate with kids in life changing ways!  Your children will hear great stories about Jesus' life and about His love for them.  Jesus desires that our children learn to trust Him, to come to love Him, and to become His followers.  Today's children will change tomorrow's world!  We simply want to equip them for the task. 

The children's department at Fishcreek is known as The Creek Kids ....growing kids in wisdom, faith, and friendship.  Luke 2:52 tells us that Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and man.  We desire that our kids grow the same way!

The following are the opportunities for Naz Nursery, Toddlers, & PreK-Kindergarten:

Sunday Mornings: our youngest friends can be brought to the Kids Welcome Desk where you will be greeted by one of our dedicated volunteers.  They will get you checked in with a pager that you will keep with you.  Chidren play and learn during both Sunday School hour and during service.  Our volunteers have all received background checks and are dedicated to loving your child and teaching them about Jesus! 

The following are the opportunities for Children's Church:

• Sunday School is provided at 9:30 A.M. each Sunday.  Both classes learn fundamental Biblical truths through stories from the Old and New Testaments. The children are challenged to learn Scripture to hide in their hearts. They also learn the importance of prayer through sharing requests and praying for each other.
• The Creek Kids begins after Worship in the Children's Chapel. All children 1st – 6th grade join together for Children’s Church. They Worship and learn through Bible stories, songs and videos, games and activities. On the fourth Sunday of each month the children will worship with their parents in the main sanctuary and then head down to Children's Church in the Children's Chapel. The fourth Sunday of the month is Family Sunday, children stay in serivce with their family. 
• Wednesday evenings offer time for the children to spend together nurturing friendships. The children are together from 7:00pm to 8:00 pm. They play together, share in a devotion or object lesson, and share in prayer time together.

The children's ministers at Fishcreek, are committed to showing Christ's love to every child participating in any or all of the ministry opportunities of our church.  You and your children will be loved!

All Children’s Workers have been screened and are background-checked through NazSafe—an organization specializing in providing the tools and trainings we need to create safe environments for children.
